Recently it has been found that the arrest phenomena in dispersions of colloidal particles with short ranged attractions exhibit rich scenarios, including two different glassy states, glass-to-glass transitions (predicted, but not yet observed) and interference of vitrification and phase separation kinetics. A number of studies were motivated by predictions from mode coupling theory (MCT). Building on previous tests by molecular dynamics simulations, which we performed of universal predictions from MCT, we go on to quantitatively test its accuracy. Specifically, we perform quantitative tests for attraction driven glass transitions at high, and gel transitions at intermediate densities.
